A classical Unisex layering piece for warmth and to bring another tone to your outfit.

Composed of 100% Pure Cashmere, this luxury item will be one of the hardest working pieces in your Capsule Wardrobe.

Why Cashmere?

Renowned for being one of the most luxurious, softest and rarest natural fibres in the world. Cashmere's unique properties make it superior to all others.

Warmer than Wool -  by up to 8x! Thanks to its higher loft—the structural ratio of fibre to air—cashmere provides superior insulation while remaining lightweight and breathable.

Exceptionally soft. With ultra-fine fibres, cashmere is softer than wool and ideal for sensitive skin, reducing irritation and itchiness.

Naturally temperature-regulating. Cashmere helps maintain body temperature, keeping you warm in winter yet cool in summer—unlike synthetic blends that trap heat.

Hygroscopic & Moisture-wicking. Cashmere absorbs moisture and wicks it away, allowing sweat to evaporate rather than trapping it—keeping you fresh and comfortable, allowing your skin to breathe.

Odour-Resistant. Cashmere's breathable fibres naturally inhibit bacteria growth, helping to prevent odours and keep your garment fresher for longer. Which means you don't need to wash it very often, only when it’s truly necessary.

100% Pure.  Unlike many alternatives, this garment is crafted from 100% Pure Cashmere, so you experience all the benefits of this premium fibre without compromise.

Ethical & Sustainable Cashmere

Our ethically sourced cashmere comes from Inner Mongolia and is Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) Certified. We work with suppliers who uphold the highest standards in animal welfare, traditional herding practices, and sustainable land management. Additionally, our cashmere meets OEKO-Tex & GOTS Certifications, ensuring full supply chain transparency.

Cashmere Benefits

Warmer Than Wool—By Up to 8x

Thanks to its higher loft—the structural ratio of fibre to air—cashmere provides superior insulation while remaining lightweight and breathable. You get exceptional warmth without the bulk.

Exceptionally Soft

With ultra-fine fibres measuring just 14-19 microns, cashmere is significantly softer than wool and ideal for sensitive skin, reducing irritation and itchiness. Once you experience pure cashmere, nothing else compares.

Naturally Temperature-Regulating

Cashmere helps maintain your body temperature, keeping you warm in winter yet cool in summer—unlike synthetic blends that trap heat and moisture. This natural thermoregulation makes cashmere a year-round essential.

Hygroscopic & Moisture-Wicking

Cashmere absorbs moisture and wicks it away from your skin, allowing sweat to evaporate rather than trapping it. This keeps you fresh and comfortable throughout the day, allowing your skin to breathe naturally.

Odour-Resistant

Cashmere's breathable fibres naturally inhibit bacteria growth, helping to prevent odours and keep your garment fresher for longer. This means you don't need to wash it very often—only when it's truly necessary—which extends the life of your piece.

Hypoallergenic

Cashmere's exceptionally fine, smooth fibers are naturally free from lanolin - the oily substance in sheep's wool that triggers allergies. This makes it gentler on sensitive skin, unlike coarser wools and synthetics that can cause irritation.

Lightweight Yet Durable

Despite its delicate feel, high-quality cashmere is remarkably strong and resilient. With proper care, cashmere pieces last for decades, becoming softer and more beautiful with age.

100% Biodegradable

At the end of its life, pure cashmere returns safely to the earth. Unlike synthetic fibres that sit in landfills for hundreds of years, cashmere breaks down naturally, enriching the soil like compost. Because it is composed of the natural protein keratin, it can act as a slow-release fertilizer, releasing nitrogen, sulfur, and magnesium into the soil as it decomposes.

Sustainability

Our ethically sourced cashmere comes from Inner Mongolia and is Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) Certified. We work with suppliers who uphold the highest standards in animal welfare, traditional herding practices, and sustainable land management. Additionally, our cashmere meets OEKO-Tex & GOTS Certifications, ensuring full supply chain transparency.

FAQ

How is Le Edit Cashmere different?

Ours is 100% Pure Cashmere. No Blends.

Next time you're shopping, check the tags. You'll find that many brands—even luxury ones—blend their cashmere to reduce costs. We don't believe you should pay premium prices for diluted quality.

We don't blend our cashmere with wool, acrylics, or polyester to cut costs. It's 100% pure - giving you all the natural benefits: temperature regulation, moisture wicking, odour resistance, and hypoallergenic comfort.

What is the Fit like?

Our cashmere is a relaxed design. Size down if you prefer a more fitted look and up if you prefer more oversized.

We also have Boyfriend Styles if you prefer an even more oversized fit.

See 'Size Notes' for the measurements of each style, or for personalised fit advice email customerservice@leedit.co

Is Le Edit Cashmere Ethical?

Our Cashmere is sourced from Inner Mongolia and is Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) Certified. The company we source from prioritises animal welfare, traditional herding practices and sustainable land management. In addition to being RWS Certified our Cashmere is OEKO-Tex & GOTSCertified, ensuring transparency and high standards throughout the supply chain.

How do you wash Cashmere?

Don't!  Cashmere doesn't require frequent washing because it is naturally stain and odour resistant.

Frequent washing can damage the delicate fibres of the material, causing it to shrink, loose its softness, and wear out faster.

For the times when washing is necessary, we've created a guide on how to spot wash, hand wash, dry, store, and care for your cashmere pieces to ensure they last. Learn more on the Blog.
