Cashmere & Merino Anti Pilling Comb

Over time, all natural knitwear will begin to pill forming small, soft balls of fluff on the surface. This is a normal part of the fibre's evolution as the short fibres work their way to the surface and intertwine through friction.  

The degree of pilling will vary from person to person, depending on how the piece is worn, cleaned, and stored. Every garment experiences this differently as a reflection of individual wear.

Pilling will settle down over time, those little fluff balls will stop forming as the loose fibres gradually work their way free.

There are two common ways to remove pills: a fabric shaver or a cashmere comb. Both are valid options and it really comes down to personal preference.

We offer the cashmere comb — used with a light hand and gentle strokes, it lifts pills away cleanly without disturbing the fibre. As with any tool, results depend on technique, so we recommend starting slowly and testing on a small area first.
