What is a worsted yarn?
Worsted yarns are finer and therefore more costly than woollen yarns of the same composition. Fibres are aligned in a parallel, then twisted together to create a smooth, dense yarn that is stronger and less prone to pilling.

Why choose Merino?
Merino wool is superior to regular wool, with a few of the benefits listed below.
Finer and Softer. Merino wool fibers are finer and softer than traditional wool, which makes it much more comfortable and a better option for those with sensitive skin.
Breathable and Temperature-Regulating. Merino wool naturally regulates body temperature by drawing moisture away from the skin, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. This is thanks to the wool’s natural crimp and structure, which helps trap air for insulation.
Odour Resistant. Merino wool has natural antibacterial properties, which help reduce odours. Unlike regular wool or synthetic fabrics, merino doesn’t absorb odors easily, even after long periods of wear.
Lightweight. Merino wool is lighter and thinner than traditional wool, making it more versatile for layering and easier to pack for travel.
Durability. Despite being fine and soft, merino wool is also strong and durable, meaning it can withstand repeated washing and wear without losing its shape or softness.
High Frequency. Merino wool also has a high vibrational frequency of 5000 mHz. A natural fibre with the same high frequency as Linen.
Easy Care. Naturally odour resistant, you don't need to wash Merino every time you wear it. We recommend only washing your Merino when it is actually dirty. Merino wool can be machine washed, but only on a cool, delicate cycle. Never use the warm or hot water or you can shrink the garment.
