These wide leg pants are crafted from a luxe linen cotton blend with a woven stripe.

Featuring deep pockets and elasticated waist for ultimate comfort.  So comfy you will never want to take them off.

As a Set. Pairs with the matching Reversible Tops. Please note this is a slightly to our original Woven Stripe and does not match with shorts purchased previously. Please email customerservice@leedit.co if you what to check which production run your Shirt was in as to whether it will perfectly match.

As Separates. We love our Woven Stripe contrasted with our Organic Rib Tops in Summer and Cashmere in Winter.

What's different about Le Edit Linen?
 
Many brands blend their linen with viscose, rayon or polyester (just other words for plastic!) to reduce costs - we don’t. This fabric blend is a Linen/Cotton so you can enjoy the natural benefits each fibre uniquely has to offer.
 
So why are Natural Fibres so important?
 
Because when you wear clothes made from synthetic fibers, they often contain harmful chemicals that are bad for your health. These chemicals can disrupt your endocrine system with microfibres being absorbed into your body when worn, and released into the environment when washed.  
 
When building your capsule wardrobe, choosing only natural fibers is not just better for the planet—it’s better for you too. 
 
What are some of the benefits?
 
Breathable. Linen helps regulate and maintain your body temperature by offering excellent air circulation. The naturally hollow flax fibers and loosely woven threads keep you comfortable by allowing air to flow freely.
 
Temperature Regulating & Hygroscopic. Linen keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter by adapting to changing temperatures. It helps regulate and maintain your body temperature by releasing excess heat when you’re warm and retaining warmth when it’s cold.
 
Sustainable. Made from the flax plant, this completely natural fabric requires minimal resources to grow and is 100% biodegradable making it an excellent choice for sustainable fashion.  
 
Hypoallergenic. Linen is pH neutral and gentle on the skin, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin or allergies.
 
Antibacterial & Moisture-wicking. Linen is naturally resistant to odour and microbes.  By drawing moisture away from your skin, linen keeps you dry and comfortable. As bacteria need moisture to grow, linen’s breathability and quick-drying nature help inhibit bacterial growth. It also contains lignin, a compound that prevents moisture retention, further protecting against bacteria.
 
High Frequency. Linen has a frequency of 5,000 Hz, the highest of any fabric. In contrast, synthetic fibers like polyester and nylon have much lower frequencies, usually below 100 Hz.
 
Strong but Soft.  Linen will lasts you for years. The flax fibres get softer with each wear, offering a relaxed, timeless look that only gets better with age.
